#12 DOVER 400

La pagina sulla Dover 400 che si terrà domenica si apre con la notizia che Brian Vickers non sarà della partita.

Il pilota del Red Bull Racing è infatti all'ospedale a causa di problemi fisici che gli impediranno di correre.

Per preservare la sua privacy non è stato reso noto nè il problema che impedirà a Vickers di correre nè tantomeno l'ospedale in cui è ricoverato.


Al posto di Vickers il Red Bull Racing ha ingaggiato momentaneamente Casey Mears come sostituto.

Questa settimana All Star Race...

Giunge intanto notizia che Brian Vickers salterà il resto della stagione in via precauzionale.

Il 26enne pilota del Red Bull Racing è stato fermato in via precauzionale dai medici che temono che la gamba sinistra di Vickers possa avere ripercussioni da un eventuale incidente.

Per la precisione Vickers ha dei grumi sanguigni che a tutti gli effetti impediscono la normale circolazione del sangue nella gamba e che, a detta degli esperti, sono il primo passo verso una sicura trombosi.

Fortunatamente per Vickers i problemi alla gamba sono stati scoperti pressochè immediatamente e, con le dovute cure, il pilota tornerà senza dubbio alla guida per la Daytona 500 del 2011.

Daytona 500 del 2011 che Vickers ha già detto di voler vincere per poter scrivere un'altra fantastica storia della voglia di vincere americana.

Per la sua sostisuzione, il management Red Bull pare avviato verso la conferma di Casey Mears, con uno specialista degli stradali che potrebbe salire sulla vettura di Vickers per le gare di Sonoma e Watkins Glen.
